This position is for a person with full-stack experience building and shipping a SaaS product with at least 100,000 monthly users, to join our team as a co-founder on our mission to build patient-aligned medical intelligence systems. Our R&D pipeline already includes analytics tools that we want to make available as patient-facing and clinician-facing products including notadoctor.ai, and we want engineers with product management experience to lead the charge on those deliverables.

In this role we need candidates with

• Early-stage product leadership experience with either B2B or B2C products, along with
• Strong full-stack web development experience, including for large-scale SaaS products with at least 100,000 monthly users; and in particular
• Payment processing & strategy experience, including good judgement regarding which features to gate on paid subscriptions.
• The following are not required, but our team will welcome and make good use of experience with:
• managing context window limitations with LLMs;
• training, fine-tuning, and evaluating LLMs, and/or development of commercially scaled LLM products;
• statistical know-how sufficient to write critical evaluations of published research papers;
• personal or professional engagement in medical research; and/or
• working in the healthcare industry.

Qualifications

Compensation

• Starting between $210k-$350k per year plus stock options, depending on experience and your preference of cash vs equity vesting over 5 years, along with healthcare benefits.
• Raises may also become available with team-wide accomplishments that expand our revenue stream.

Location

• Berkeley / SF bay area.
• We work in-person at our office in Berkeley for three days per week, and on other days we have the option of working from the office or from home.
