Principal Software Engineering Manager

Working with Desktop and Mobile teams and engineering counterparts in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, you will align shared capabilities across platforms and help your team deliver on ambitious schedules while managing competing priorities and minimizing disruptions. Advance the AI-driven transformation of software engineering by rethinking development workflows and adopting new engineering capabilities while maintaining quality and trustworthiness. Lead, grow, and inspire a high-performing, inclusive engineering team, developing engineers and guiding them through change.

Drive the long-term modernization of the UX Platform, addressing performance, correctness, compatibility, and platform evolution with robust, reusable solutions that avoid overengineering. Build relationships with partner teams and coach engineers in boundaryless execution, delivering solutions that exceed partner expectations.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND

• 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years people management experience.
• Experience shipping consumer web apps at large scale (50M+).
• Web development experience and a passion for polished, detailed UX.
• Experience with AI-native, agentic engineering and a drive to lead teams toward autonomous ways of working.
