Cookie Policy

Last updated: January 21, 2025

Cookies are small files a site stores on your device so it can recognise you between requests. This page lists the categories TechiHub uses and how to control them.

Categories we use

  • Essential cookies: Required for sign-in, session security and core navigation. These cannot be switched off without breaking the platform.
  • Functional cookies: Remember preferences such as your theme, language and the company you last worked in, so you are not asked again on every visit.
  • Analytics cookies: Tell us which pages and job searches are used, in aggregate, so we can fix what is slow or confusing.
  • Marketing cookies: Measure campaign effectiveness and personalise marketing. These are optional and set only with your consent.

Related technologies

  • Web beacons: Small graphics in emails that record opens and engagement.
  • Pixel tags: Measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
  • Local storage: Keeps data on your own device — recent searches, for instance — to speed the platform up.

Controlling cookies

Every major browser can block or delete cookies, either for all sites or for this one alone — look for cookies or site data under privacy settings. Advertising cookies can also be turned off through the industry opt-out tools your browser supports.

Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and prevent you from signing back in. Blocking functional cookies loses preferences but leaves the platform usable.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by services we embed rather than by us, including analytics and social sign-in providers. Those companies act under their own privacy policies, which govern how they use what they collect.

This page expands on our Privacy Policy, which governs if the two ever differ.
